CABLES

HERE ARE OUR CABLE MAKING PRINCIPLES:

1.No-Nonsense design, following University principles rather than snake oil and voo-doo

2.Deciding by ear , if two equal solutions are technically possible but sonically different

3.Not mixing filters and cables - no hidden caps, no hidden coils, no “rabbit eaten by a snake” boxes on our cables. Our cables are just that - cables.

4.Price point of 5%-10% of a given component  (like our DAC) not 100%-200% like some other people suggest

5.Using only best accessories - plugs and connectors

6.XLR plugs from Neutrik of Liechtenstein

7.Power IEC plugs from Taiwan

8.All solder is Gold/Silver Solder Mundorf or WBT - Made in Germany.

9.Everything is designed, tested and assembled by hand in Lampizator factory by a dedicated cable specialist.

10.We use attractive decoration that looks good but not contribute more than 5% to the final price, not 95%.

11.We design the cable mechanical integrity to offer 20 years of faultless service .

12.We try to use silver plated copper as our conductor throughout all cable range and teflon as insulation wherever possible because Teflon is the best, most neutral insulation dielectric known to man.

13.After assembly and testing our cables go through an “activation process” which is nothing similar to burn -in. We use process which is 1000 times more significant than burn-in in the real audio system, and namely: using high current AC to process the conductors in the cable internally.  After this processes, the cable is  beyond recognition and reaches quality never possible with just “using the cable for a week”. The torture  transforms a cable from being sonically "worth" 100 Euro to being worth 1000 Euro.

Our Lampizator Cable line consists of:

• AC power cable

• • AC power extension cable in 6 sqmm copper

• USB SILVER SHADOW

• S/PDIF SILVER SHADOW RCA-RCA

• S/PDIF SILVER SHADOW RCA to BNC

• S/PDIF SILVER SHADOW BNC-BNC

• AES/EBU SILVER SHADOW  Digital XLR

Our cables represent our 20 years experience in making DIY cables.

Finally from 2016 we decided to offer them professionally and commercially as a mature product line.
